To ensure Wilson Salt are compliant in all aspects of Health & Safety we are OHSAS 1800:2007 accredited. This Occupational Health and Safety Management Certification is an international standard which provides a framework to identify, control and decrease the risks associated with health and safety within the workplace. Implementing this standard sends a clear signal to our customers that we view our employee’s health and safety as a priority within our organisation.
The scheme is audited and certified by an independent certification body, in accordance with the internationally recognised standard EN45011 (also known as ISO Guide 65). This means that the certification body is itself independently assessed every year to ensure that the standard is implemented and administered consistently and fairly.
